When penguins do exams...
I just finished my anatomy exam and have two exams to go; psychology and philosophy. Between studying for the tests I managed ot scribble a little piece of compound sentences for Cindra's Quill-Driving Competition and this here Penguin sure would love it if some of you could make it over there and read some really funny stuff. We were given 18 words to construe a poem, essay, anecdote or mumble-jumble with and the outcome was pretty darn any good. Since the submitted entries are anonymous there is no pressure on you to vote with a person in mind. So if you have a minute, venture over there...with a hot cuppa somethin' and relax. We thank you!

I scribbled a bit for the competition myself, but I didn't vote for my own -- they are all too good! I think I know which one is yours. You have a very "Penguin-y" writing style.

actonbell, I am glad you like them. I have become quite fond of teh penguin image for myself and ove rteh last year it has grown...I am startign to wonder if people remember that I am actually a shoe :) If you have time, I would appreciate your opinion and maybe entice you to join teh next round, I have read soem of your writing and you could hold your own, without problems :)
Quilly, if that was due to grammar or spelling I am mortified...if it was menat to tell me I have a special kinda humor, I am tickled :) Some of my oldest friends, did not guess right, as to what my piece was though!

Moa, I do the german tradition and had my shoes filled on the 6th. I think demanding 13 presents until Christmas eve at the age of 30 would be pushing it a bit. Besides I a, leaving this island on the 17th :)
