Morgan...it is very funny. especially since Penguins can't fly. And yes you are first, on both sites :)

Doug...Maybe there were so many lost boys, 'cause people didn't look up at the ceiling :)

hmmm -- is that "insanity flavored rainbows"? or "rainbow flavored insanity"? either way your Snark post was spectacular.

thinking that cartoon is not just hilarious, but utterly and wonderfully appropriate! well done, dear Penguin! here's hoping your own "insanity" (born of caring for 5 nephews, i suppose) doesn't get the best of you this week. (checking the ceiling from time to time is a very good idea) ; ) xox

I thought it was "when pigs fly," not when little boys fly.

neva, yes...there won't be any lost boys on my shift. That being said, I shouldn't have told them about teh idea of tying bed-covers together to make an escape route of a second floor window :)

TLP, well, both have little propellers to stirr the flight ;)

Whew! At least my kids don't do that. Off to the Snark now. :)

This joke is great; but sorry to say a reality in our family. Somebody of the older generation used a rather loud voice to discuss the point that autistic DNAs didn´t come form HIS side of the family. :))

Minka dear... this is my favourite penquin cartoon, for many reasons. In our household also (Logophile) we kid each other about undisirable traits passed on from our parents, and, of course, the wonderful gifts we have passed on to our intelligent, witty son with the great hair. In the cartoon, maybe the mom was a bird-brain, and donated bird-genes to the pool. *chuckles and hoots* .....Judy

Theresa, I am afraid mine might :)

terry, I hope not.

MOM, autistic DNA is all ove rthe place in our family. The louder we protest the more we try to cover...

actonbell, I didn't realize that, but you are right, it looks like Charlie Brown+s sweater. Should I alert the peanut police?

Joel, why thank you. I hope you guys had a great time. Did Neva make a Turkey.

LOGO, can't say I am surprised. :)

J.D...I like this one too. Glad it reminded ou of your family. I see more and more traits in my sister and me, everytime we meet.

Nessa, will do! What's a gobbler?
