OK, I think I asked to be struck with lightning if I ever used this word so stand back...that is precious!

You're right, though. Not real scary.

Doug...you used precious. there is no way back now. Welcome to teh sunny side ;)

Mom, awww...little penguinita making you proud today?!

G...well, it knocked me from the chair. I tend to think when the world around him gets to be somber for a day, he choses that very day to cast light and illuminate all teh silliness. Some people just have to be square :)

Did you make that? Or did you just find a pic on teh internets? Where did you find a penguin pumpkin template?

That's hilarious. And great work, too! Didn't you say you have no pumpkins in Iceland? :-P

Diesel, all it takes is imagination and dozens of pumpkins for research :)

Nessa, are you alright? water? didn't mean to frighten you like this. Can I have my treat now? Got any salmon in the freezer?

ariel, I have never seen any, or at least any big enough to get creative with. If I had a pumpkin, this is what i would have tried to make though...plus some but of finger tips for decoration and real blood!

Guys...
all it takes is for you to have observed me with a knife for a few minutes. The lack of bits of finger aorund the pumpkin clearly indicate that this is not work done by me :)

Shall we go and byu a pumpkin daughter? sorry for the loss of your fingers. But i saw in TV how you do it, firstly you talk really fast and then you paste your out cut on the pumpkin, take care to cut in the sides of the paper as a pumpkin is round and a paper is flat and then you make these sweet holes and skrub them with floor and then you need a tiny little saw and VERY thick hokey gloves... Shall we????

Mom, making dinner with you is more of an adventure than my fragile little brain can take. I think we leave the carving to the professionals :)

Ap3...I love it...it just doesn't seem to frighten people into giving me loads of treats, you see :) Have a wonderful November!

Doug, that was charming and even with a typo. Aren't you just precious :)

NOT scary? perhaps, but fine and funfunfun, nonetheless. heck, i'd give you extra chocolate treats just for the effort!

Happy END of October dearest friend.

That is too cute! Man, you are fast. I haven't even looked at my Halloween pics yet, let alone get them up on my blog.

neva, I love when people make typos...shows me they are right at home. However, americanizing my name is a bit pushy, I feel like I have to move to East Dakota or something :)

Theresa, this was right there on google pictures for me to steal. It's never been about quickness with me, it's always been about how to best accomodate my laziness :)

HA HA HA - Minka - where is East Dakota? A new state perhaps? :)

Halloween is usually a scary holiday. A pumpkin penguin makes me smile (my preciousssss) not scream.

At 22:52, Blogger Minka said...

terry, I know and I thought coming up with East Dakota was rather funny too. I do slay me! I feared you wouldn't be scared, did you bring chocolate anyway?
