The week just flew by...

1.

I fell of a horse. Not to worry, I didn't hurt myself all that much and to be honest the horse seemed to be more terrified of the fall than I did. I should have used a saddle. But as the saying goes, one rider falls, another two saddle up! Look at these two fearless little cowboys above!

2.

Gay Pride was happening here last weekend. It is one of the biggest festivals in Reykjavik each year. I am proud to announce that I have attended six out of the seven
happenings. And they get bigger every year. The first year, there were 30 people who gathered I think :)This year there were thousands. Which is a high percentage in Iceland! I appreciate the openess and live-and-let live attitude of the Icelanders. Although, to be quite truthful...I have a wonderful, caring and sexy gay friend. And sometimes when I look at him I can not help but think "there are so few good ones out there for us, why do you have to drive your car on the other side of the road?"
But alas...they seem so very happy!

Beautiful horse pictures. And are those daring actors relating to you? :)

Wow, a little trick rider! Good that you had fun at the gay pride event. Window shopping, I guess?

one of my best friends in the whole world is gay, and i used to think the same thing about him... not for myself, but for a couple of our mutual single girlfriends! but he's in a loving relationship and is very happy, so i'm happy for him. the parade sounds like a great event, and i'm guessing you had a lot of fun!

sooooo glad you didn't hurt yourself falling! i love your "fall off the horse" saying... here it's something like "get back on" (after you fall off) which is more of a "life" message, since it applies to so many circumstances.

happy Tuesday, sweet Minka! (sorry the Snark post was late today, won't happen again. or, maybe it will... who knows? certainly not me!) xox

Brian, I guess the oracle left out the part about his being married, huh? I guess she assumed it went without saying.

Brian, you have just decided an old debate between me and someone. I always said that "Lovely Rita, meter maid, nothing can come between us" means nothing can stand in the way of the happiness of Paul and lovely Rita, but someone said, it means that nothing is going to happen between Paul and lovely Rita. I won! thank you! in return, my advice: be Muslim, they can have 4 wives.

Falling off is better than never having tried to ride at all.

Brian, can you imagine what our kids would look like? A cross between a bunny and a penguin? I mean the story would move from Shakespeare to Mary Shelley in an instant!

Ariel, I am not sure I am getting this, but I support yoru winning :)

Zockso, welcome back. Glad i mad eyou laugh!

Fred, embarassingly enough...I have been riding for quite a while. That is why it came as a shock;)

I forgot what the post was what with the saga in the comments. Oh yeah - cute future circus kids. Hope you're okay after the fall. The Gay Parade in New York is the most colorful. Not from a gay perspective, you is or you ain't, but from your ahem, commentors' - did I not see a picture of your boyfriend somewhere? You know what, let's just leave the mystique. What color boa did you buy?

Logo, Icelanders get all kinds a naked any day of the week. Keeping our clothes on is what makes a good festival over here;)
