Brian

I wasn´t gonna post today. Mostly because I slept only three hours last night and I have to be off and do loads of things. But a busy scedule never stopped me from blogging.
This morning I visited Brian´s site. He publishes every Wednesday and Friday and I have known him for some time now. Today he left me in total awe.
Brian is an amazing person who must have such a zest for life, that regardless of what life hands him...somehow he powers through.
His strength, honesty and beautiful heart touched me very early. He also wrote me a poem, a girl likes that too ;)
Now, I know that some of you already dwell in his poetic sphere, but those of you who don´t...why don´t you head on over to his site and read his last post. Read it all the way through and feel good afterwards and refreshed.
I am not sure what exactly it was about this post...but we sure all could use a little dose of good things in life!

FYI, talking about good things in life: Terry has some lovely pictures from Iceland up. In case you are curious about what surrounds yours truly!

Isn´t it great to publish a post, pointing to other people´s wrintings?! :)

Ok, I screwed up a little.
I am very tired after all!
Fred commented already-I am sorry I somehow deleted it- and said:

Fred: ok, will do! Go to bed...

First off, I am very impressed by your ability to sew curtains! I cannot get around sewing to save my life! In Denmark they used to make us take home-ec type classes in the 5th grade and I was very good at woodwork... before we got into sewing we moved but I was quite relieved as I just was not doing too well in that class!

I LOVE Terry's pictures! Makes me wanna come over and discover a land I need to know!

Kisses to a sweet, sweet Minka and buenos dias hermana!

Question: Does it really count as a post if all you're doing is pointing to others'?

Answer: YES! and thx, I enjoy expanding my horizons (and very nice pix, too!)

Sar, don´t worry you didnæt miss anything so world changing :) But I sure hope you had a lovely weekend...tomorrow is still another holiday day in Iceland. How about the States?

Wow, those pictures over at Terry's are breathtaking. Really makes me want to take a visit. I always heard that Iceland was green and Greenland was icy.

At 00:25, Blogger Minka said...

Well, you heard right :)
It is lovely here. The scenery is breath taking an dyou get everything from sandy areas, to waterfalls to glaciers to volcanos. There are few people on this island, so you can ctually go off and be alone for a very long time if you choose to do so. And people always think it is bloody freezing all the time. I am not saying we have hot weather right now, but it isnæt freezing either. It is a lovely middle.
Oh...and welcome, I believe this is your first visit over here!

I like the posts about other people's posts!
People with the good sense to like me often demonstrate good taste in their other acquaintances as well!
