Happy Easter everybody!
Ok, I am almost off. Germany, sister and nieces are calling. They can´t wait, especially since they know I have all sorts of Icelandic treats for them in my bag.
Seriously! My eldest niece called me this evening:
Niece:"Auntie Monika, you are coming tomorrow!"
Minka:"Yes sweety, are you excited?"
Niece:"Oh yes, very much. You did buy the Icelandic Easter Egg, right?"
I swear there was hardly any pause between the two sentences in the last statement :)
Kids!
I´ll miss you guys and I sure hope you will have a wonderful Easter holiday.
And our usual Thursday Brain Teaser:

She lived in Ancona, Italy. I'm a product of her teaching. Let that be a lesson to any considering one of her schools.

I had no clue that there are plenty of computers at the airport. For a little money you can have the time of your life while waiting for your connecting flight. What do you mean, blog-addicted?

My son went to her kind of school up to 3rd grade....that is when we moved. I was on the board of that school and we added one elementary school grade each year.
In Icelandic there is a word for conceited....it starts with m.....did I say too much!!!!

I have always been impressed with the way she she let kids sit on the floor, and take time outs when it suited them

As for your Italian lady - I think I know who it is - just heard about her on an A&E show about Alexander Graham Bell this morning - he brought her over to the US and had her start a school here - in DC I think - with her methods. Sent all his grandkids there.
There are still schools named after them jointly - AGBMS...

Welcome back....I found out that with blogger if you want to post a lot of photos do them one at the time......I have had time when they refused to publish for me, those of course are major AAAAArg, moments.
