Pray, tell, was this person experiencing a nervous breakdown. I didn't understand one word; but the emotions sure came through.

TLP, I understna dit too. I have gioven my laptop many a threatening glances over time, but not physical abuse has yet occured.

Joel, welcome and yes it is both scary and hilarious at the same time. In retrospect I wonder if that kid is just such a good actor, or if he has been secretly taped...

ariel, that makes two of us. He reminds me a little of when I play Playstation and I am collecting all the cristals with my little purple dragona dn I can not find one of the cristals...it is a very scary sight sometimes!

Timothy, he think he might have been. And rest assured, the language was rough German. A dialect exclusively known to the younger generation :)

Hey, Monika, you may call me Timothy; but Tim is what most people call me. :)

At 00:37, Blogger Minka said...

Tim, i just love the sound of Timothy. I noticed your full name when you did the ten things about Timothy :) But Tim is greta too and let´s face is less chance for me to type it wrong ;)

Johnboy, now from under which rock did you crawl out :) Long time, no comment or post! You ok?

Blasphemous, irascible, boondoggle, inhospitable. How could you post that? I liked it. I have often yelled like that at my CO.

There was a japanese song on when I entered your page to be welcomed by those german screams, followed by Leonard Cohen's First We take Manhattan, Then We'll Take Berlin. It felt like a relly surealistic depiction of the Axis powers during WW II. The Italian were forgotten of course, but arent they always?

they shouldn't be, Ásgeir. there was not, there is not and there will be not greater goal keeper than the Italian Gianluigi Buffon.

Monika, I know that feeling, too, and computers must be yelled at sometimes and described in big details all the ugly things can happen to them if they don't stop being stupid, but that video made me happy that posession of arms is still illegal at many places...

windowtomymind, interestingly enough a woman at work pointed it out to me. The whole thing started like this: "You are German, right?!" "Yes", I answer, ready to spit fire. There is this funny thing on and I was wondering of you could translate....
I though it was funny too and here it is: stolen for your convenience:)

Ásgeir, what rare, yet always delightful visit! Well, it is mostly Germany that gets associaltet with WW2...other nations were also there :) But be careful, I have two Italian readers and they have that thing called pride ;) Nice ot hear from you!

ariel, I respectfully disagree. Oliver Kahn takes the crown. Sure he has some anger-management problems, but the guy´s my hero!:)
I totally agree with threatening descriptions towards your PC when it misbehaves:)

Keith, you impressed this German girl. Didn´t know you had it in you! Play computers came a little later than WW2 though;) seems the guy also owns a wireless mouse and keyboard...must be recent. But I am sure he will make Germany proud in one way or another :)

What a promising German youth. Youths today are delightful, don´t u think? I have no fear for the future of the planet, not with the generation about to inherit it showing such promise. (Don´t mean to sound like a grumpy old man)

And Ariel, I agree with u on Buffon. He is the greatest today. (please don't be saying this just because he is pretty or something..) But one has to love those bad-tempered German keepers, Push'nShove Lehman is everyone´s darling.

At 12:42, Blogger Minka said...

Tryggvi, knew you´d comment as soon as ariel brought up a goal keeper :)

I can't see the movie on this computer but wanted to say hi anyway. I bet I'll have a very witty comment about it when I get home Sunday.

At 13:13, Blogger Minka said...

Doug, have a nice stay wherever you are and enjoy. Loved the Saturday story telling today. Well done!

I could not see it either! Oh shucks! My sistah! We got some talking about tweaking to do! So as soon as I get my kids straightened out an email shall come your way! Many kisses!

ME!

All I can say is, where can I find this kid? I would like to hire him to tell my computer a thing or two from time to time. I can yell with the best of them, however, not with such feeling and abandon.....By the way I don't think this is a strickly German trait....have seen people of many nations that have been able to express their anger in such a way......as Johnboy said "Pissed off" is a universal language....Yes!!!! indeed.

Hey Monika...thanks for stopping by my site!

Joel

auntie, I know it is not particular to Germans :) It just happens to be a German guy screaming obscenities at his computer.

joel, it was a pleasure to be sure!

Well, I only meant the italians are usually forgotten when it comes to WW II bad guys. The Azzuris however, are obviously never forgotten. What other team for example has been graced by a divine ponytail?

At 22:53, Blogger Ariel the Thief said...

Oliver Kahn is one personality makes watching soccer worthwhile!

ponytails? do you mean you look above belt, Ásgeir?! (jk)

At 01:07, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I was of course talking about Roberto Baggio - and you don't actually have to look, since it's divine you just know it's there ...

My sweet mac does not want to show me this video for some reason...some application I need or something? Anyways, I am sure it was reaaaly good or funny or sad or clever or whatever it was supposed to be...maybe I'll have a chance to see it sometime.

At 10:12, Blogger Minka said...

Ásgeir, let´s not forget David Beckham, Man U and his ponytail. Gosh, what a GOD!

Johnboy, don´t overdo your work. Blogging is more important. We ll know that! :)

Ariel, for me it is teh legs as well :) Oh my God!

Ásgeir, any particular fetish you want to out?! Ponytails? Really?

Squaregirl, you did not miss much. Some German kid abusing his computer physically and with colourful language. I am thinking of taking it out now. Because, whenever I go to my site, somebody is screaming at me in German. Quite upsetting really :)

That is SOOOOoooooo funny!!
I'm gonna show this to my kids when they get home later. And my hubby too.
That kid needs a sedative. Please, someone get that kid a Valium!!
My goodness! I don't think that game was doing what he wanted it to, although there were a few times when he seemed devilishly delighted.
He's gonna have some big psycho-analylist bills when he gets older.

Wow.

Caresses ibook. "I love my computer. Sweet precious ibook. You are so good to me. I will never abuse you like that kid." (presses a kiss to the mouse pad. "Beautiful precious. So good. So behaved."

I'm assuming it translated to "fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck"

I'll probably get him as a student in a few years...

At 23:34, Anonymous Anonymous said...

It was scary, funny, and LOUD!

At 11:37, Blogger Minka said...

Jamie Dawn, I am glad you liked it and I hope you showed it to your kids already, ´cause I can´t take him anymore...I have to take it out now!

Jenna, i think caressing your connection to the world is a good thing. My computer ahs gotten a lot of screams over the weekend. I juts couldn´t connect, everything took ages to load and i swear to God, there were tears roling down my cheek. Hug your well-working computer and pray it never di-connects you!

Fred, I might as well, after all: I teach German :)

pia, I agree, especially on the scary and loud part!
