Another Mom blogging...
I love New Years in Iceland. We have a special way of celebrating it, at least I think it is. Fireworks start here at 11.30 until midnight to say your goodbye to the last year. Than you run into the house, clinging glasses together and screaming: "Gledilegt Nytt Ar!" to everyone around you and smacking your lips on cheeks you wouldn´t kiss any other day of the year. In Iceland, it is also a good moment to de-frost after being outside for half an hour, deperately trying to light that darn string on the firework with fingers that could be used as chopsticks!
After midnight you run out again and welcome the New Year with some more noise.
So I did all that, send the one firework I bought into the sky and mumbled to myself: "No regrets!"
On another note: Mom started a new BLOG today, so why don´t you be a good blogger buddy and hop on over there and say hi?!
And I almost forgot: rabbit, rabbit everybody!

I've heard of it being warm here. Usually it stays under a chilly 40 degrees celcius.
