I have been chained...

by Maria Erla to make a list of 5 points of "useless information" about me. Challenge extended and challenge accepted:

1) I am the oldest of 7 siblings and therefore raised at least 3 of them
2) I shaved a dead man once
3) I have never met my dad
4) I´d do almost anything for my real friends
5) I have a scar underneath my chin. The offender of this crime was a tiny bee that wanted some of my ice-cream. Being one of 7 siblings, I was having none of this addtional sharing and lunged out...!

I am gonna chain Lisa and Tryggvi; Doug and Icy - if they want to be metaphorically chained!
Everybody else is more than welcome to share...

Very interesting, Monika! Thanks for helping out with the translations in Pezland. That Heino is pretty interesting with his odd looks and booming voice!

You memed me? I thought we were friends. In response to your query, a couple things:
1. Republishing the blog is often the key.
2. Just now when I checked I see the old picture on your blog and nothing at all in your comments or profile.

At 18:26, Blogger Doug said...

Can I answer here?

At 18:28, Blogger Doug said...

Now your picture is missing from everywhere. Is it just me?

You have the longest verifiers in the world. They must know you're in Iceland.

Yep, it is all gone now. I don´t know what to do... :(

At 18:38, Blogger Doug said...

1. Check the link to the picture.
2. If the picture was a large file, you might try to make it smaller. Are you using flickr?

At 18:40, Blogger Minka said...

what is flicr?
I just posted the new picture into my album on my blog. FRom there I took the url adress and copied it into the profile thingy!
I am so sorry about this...you can go on with your life if you want ;)

At 18:42, Blogger Doug said...

That's okay, but if you aren't too concerned about my being a stalker, why don't you email me at dpascover at mac dot com so your other readers don't have to follow the whole calamity.

At 18:58, Blogger Minka said...

Wise beyond your years and considerate as well?
I am just getting to know flickr...if I cna´t do anything you´ll be getting mail!

Well done, Mädchen!

But what kind of lunatic uses their pets for profile pictures?

Your icon with the birds looks good now. Some of those things in your list would make fascinating posts someday.

the kinda lunatic that asks self-incriminating questions :)
I just love those two guys so much!

karma, I am still trying to get you to dive into this watery realm of pleasure. :)

Well, they're not quite useless. I'm glad to know them.

Yes, I see several post ideas in your 5 things.

You're one of 7, and yet you have never met your dad? Very interesting. Sperm donor?

At 00:20, Blogger Minka said...

TLP: No, just a guy that decided to run off, when my mom told him that she was pregnant...that at least is the story I hear.
Yes, my 6 siblings are half-siblings :)
LBB, why am I not getting this?

At 16:26, Blogger Doug said...

Monika, my answer to your chaining is up. I set the time back so it's just below today's post.

My list of useless information about myself:
1) I have arachnophobia.
2) I hate fucking Cassius Clay, enough already about the big-mouthed cunt.
3) I like animals much better than peeople.
4) Whenever I sit I rub my feet together feverishly.
5) My first car was an '81 Renault Fuego. I was the only one of its kind in Iceland. Everybody hated it and thought it was ugly. I loved it and thought it was the most beautiful car in the world. I still miss it.

At 21:39, Blogger Minka said...

Tryggvi, I know you pretty well, most of these things wer enot surprising at all...especially the foot rubbing, the animal preferance and the passion for old- and almost dead- cars. Your car must be one of the few in Reykjavik that make people turn their heads becaus ethe noise they make while driving :)
All these qualities are rather endearing, but who is Cassisu Clay?
A Roman Seneator that was next in line to killing Ceasar?

lugbe...rugby pronounced by a Chinese guy

Doug, thanx but you really did not need to put a special entry on your blog, you might just have commented here. But it was very witty and fun to read.

At 00:31, Blogger Doug said...

Cassius Clay=Muhammed Ali, although I bet you know that by now. You're welcome. I thought the point of chaining was to connect blogs. Plus, I got no response when I asked "Can I answer here?"

At 20:49, Blogger dddragon said...

Doug, I get those long, unuseable verifiers, too. What can you do with ujynxlpk?

Shaved a dead man? Tell us!!

My first car was a Ford Falcon. I forget the year, but it was old. My next car was a 1972 Super Bug.

At 03:04, Blogger Sar said...

Monika - Useless information to an author is entertainment for her reader. I feel I know you so much better now! Thanks for sharing. :)

At 16:45, Blogger Minka said...

dddragon, my verifiers are usually very short. This time it is fufsc.
Yours, I think, was Hunagrian for annoying verifier!

sar, you are most welcome. I put the useless information into quotation marks to indicate that they might not be that useless :)

I think I might have to publish a post of the dead man who´s beard I shaved. It is not that interesting in context though :)
