It is getting serious ...
This weekend the boyfriend and I decided to check out an apartment, no commitment...just for the fun of it. Besides, it is always fun to snoop around in other people´s lifes. Little did we know that we would fall in love with it- the apartment that is.
And there we were, ready to jump into the deep end of the ocean and commit to a future. We made an offer which got refused; made another one and now this place could be ours. Naturally there is the financial aspect we have to sort out ... but we are very hopeful indeed.
For those of you who like to snoop around in other people´s apartments: here is a preview of our nest. Enjoy!

looks great - i hope you get it guys :) cheers, maría erla
Wonderful! Looks like a nice place. My husband and I lived "in sin" with each other for over two years before we got married. I think it is a very good thing to do. You will find out if you are able to live with each other -- love is great, but you need more than love to spend a lifetime with someone and their annoying habits! This May will be our 8 year anniversary of marriage, 11 years for our relationship, 10 years living together, and a son going on two years old. We still gaze and snuggle and hold hands like we just met. I hope that the two of you will find such happiness together. Can we come to the wedding? ;-P
Thank you María. We hope so, too. :)
Jen...I am so happy for you and your man; after all this time you still have the capability of appreciating each other the way you deserve. Being able to hold hands, giggle and just gaze into each other´s eyes is such a wonderful thing and couples should make sure they never lose that. Sometimes every-day life gets in the way of romanticism though and that is what can make a relationship a tough thing.
The annoying habbits...it just seems that everybody has got those in plentitude and some of his drive me crazy. But, I am sure I have those too and they are just as annoying for the people around me.
We have been together now for two years (16th of february). After a little over a year we moved in together. And now we are thinking about buying a place together. It seems like a nice pregression to me. we will see where the future takes us.
Living in "sin", everybody in Iceland is doing it. If you have the time, you get maybe married after the second child. Still, the divorce rate is over 50%. So, there the question arises: Should these two different kinds of humans really live together or just visit one another for the fun of it?
Sweety, I am drowning you in comments now.
I do know you now for eight years, nearly out of your diapers, and I can´t think of any habit you have that annoys me or anybody else that I know about. Sometimes it gets scary what a perfect person you are!!
Mommy
Wow, how exciting! But I couldn't view it, so does that mean it was taken off the net because you bought it?? Can't wait to see it... or you! :-)
Yes, I think they take the apartments they sold off the net. Ours was there for a couple of days, but now it has vanished.
Thanx mom ...always good to know that your parents hold you in high regard! ;)
